Black Hat SEO vs. White Hat SEO
Some call it a matter of ethics, others call the company. The debate rages online and in marketing conferences around the world, but what exactly are black hat SEO and white hat SEO, anyway?
White Hat SEO is the angelic version of optimization, ie, it works only as recommended techniques – or at least not barred – through search engines and their ever-changing guidelines. Typically, the results in the form of more traffic and higher profits take anywhere from three months to one year. With this type of SEO, there is no fear of your site banned by search engines.
Black hat SEO, on the other hand, the impatient twin brother of the white hat SEO. It uses techniques specifically banned by search engines such as hidden text and hidden links. Some call this spam. Others call it business savvy. What do you call it, as the search engine guru figure out your game than the action and you blacklisted. That means you can name your business and your type name and office address in the box and your site still Will not come up.
Basically it breaks down as follows: White Hat SEO marketing and the text focuses on a site, updating with keyword rich, informative articles that benefit their customers and a solid following over time. Black hat SEO focuses on IT technology and tricks to get a ton of traffic right away.
The important thing to consider is what your goal is. Would you like heavy traffic or if you want a high turnover? With the black hat SEO, you immediate results but many visitors to your site visitors want to buy what they have to offer? If not, who cares if they end up on your site? White Hat SEO is more interested in targeted traffic, attracting the type of visitors to your site who are actually looking for you and are ready to buy your products or services. Over time your traffic and sales grow together as you build a following through word of mouth advertising and repeat customers.
So what’s all the fuss about? Usually the rules. White Hat SEO follows them closely. Black hat SEO follows the numbers instead. Those who take the time to research and follow the rules are irritated by people who have high search engine rankings to reach without taking the same pains. However, the black hat SEO proponents suggest that the search engine visits barely laws and therefore do what they want is far from illegal. It is in this discussion that the white hat and black hat, gray hat merge to become one.
In fact, white hat fanatics can charge that those who write articles on specific keyword repetition can be used to manipulate the system and his dabbling in black hat SEO. The less fanatical may indicate left as a gray area. Search engines do not want links on a site dedicated purely to drive traffic. However, if links are related to the content of the site, then that’s okay. But what about those locations where there are paid links unrelated to the content of the site they have mercy? Paid links as advertisements white hat. Paid links purely to generate traffic, black hat. Real motivation of the webmaster? Gray hat.
When it comes, everyone who uses search engines in hopes of gaining top rankings to optimize use to climb to the top of the rankings. If motivation is the only concern, then it is a matter of policy that need not take your time. Just know that if you use technology, link farms, and other banned substances which are simply designed to drive traffic and you get caught, you will be blacklisted by the search engine. If it is worth the risk to you, then do what you gotta do. The choice is yours.
