I work in the control room as an emergency 999 call taker for the ambulance service and have thought for some time that I would like to write a blog of the day to day activities and the nature of the calls I receive. This is because I believe that the public, in general, are somewhat aware of what goes on behind the scenes in the control room for the ambulance service. . . . What do you think? How could this be received?
